Standard 30’ x 26’ x 9’ Triple Wide

If you have constantly left your vehicles out in the open, exposing them to the sun or natural elements, you know this can be damaging in the long term. Protecting your vehicles or belongings shouldn’t be considered another expense: instead, think of it more as an investment. If you’re thinking about getting a carport, then you’re on the right track! Due to their durability, low maintenance, weather resistance, and sturdiness, metal buildings are now considered a superior type of outdoor building. And if you want all of this for a reasonable price, then American Carports is the company you should call!

With more than 20 years of experience in this field, our group of professionals knows exactly how to deliver a great experience—on everything from the simplest carport installed outside of your house to the most complex warehouse exclusively designed to meet your needs and expectations.

But since we’re talking about saving money today, we’re going to go for the simple stuff.

We must say that is up to our customers to add extra features and different options in order to make their carports or metal buildings more appealing to the eye. Now, is that necessary? This depends on what features you want to add. Some windows, for example, might be beneficial for illumination during the daytime. A couple of garage doors might be needed if you have multiple vehicles that you need to protect. You see? Each scenario is completely different, depending on our needs.

Maybe this 30’W x 26’L x 9’H partially enclosed carport might suit your needs:

  • Standard Roof
  • 14-Gauge Galvanized Tubing
  • (1) Full Side
  • (1) Full End

Remember that everything we do is custom made, and all we want is for our customers to be happy with their investment. You can create yours, too! Give us a call today at (866) 471-8761 to speak with one of our experts and get a FREE quote! Don’t forget to ask about our financing options. And remember that we’re now offering rent-to-own in all of our service areas.

Partially Enclosed RV Cover

Looking for an RV cover?

A camper or a trailer can be a beneficial investment, especially if you use it as a home away from home. However, we need to make sure that we protect our investments so that they last for a really long time. The sun is the number-one element that can damage our RVs. That’s why a metal RV cover is the best option for you!

Some of our customers think it’s expensive to purchase a metal RV cover since they believe that they need to pour a concrete pad on their land to secure the structure to the ground. That can be done, but only if it’s what our customers really want. There’s no need to pour a concrete pad for your metal RV cover if you don’t want to since we can anchor the unit to the ground as long as it’s leveled.

For example, look at this metal RV cover installed on the ground:

  • 24’W x 31’L x 12’H
  • 14-Gauge
  • Standard Roof
  • 3′ Side & 9′ Side
  • Horizontal End

With our mobile home anchors, your metal building can be secured directly to the ground. If you want additional protection, furthermore, you can add our 90-mph wind warranty when you purchase all the anchors needed.

The only way to ensure that your RV is fully protected, however, is to make sure that it’s shielded by a metal structure like a carport or garage. Lucky for you, we sell both! If you don’t have one, then there’s not much you can do to make sure that your RV won’t be damaged.

The Four Types of Doors We Offer

American Carports, Inc. has come a long way since the beginning; we now know that details are very important. From color options to reinforcement and ventilation features, we strive to always satisfy your needs. Thanks to this, you now have the opportunity to decide what kind of door you want. Not only does this give your unit more flexibility, but it will also enhance the overall look of your carport.

Since our customers have a multitude of door options to choose from, you will need to give us more information, from the color to the type and size. If you find yourself with a handful of questions, continue reading ‒ and remember that we’re here to help.

The four types of doors we offer are:

  • Walk-In
  • Heavy Duty Walk-In
  • Overhead
  • Roll-Up

Standard
Walk-In & Heavy-Duty Walk-In

Convenient and lightweight, these economical 20-gauge doors are essential for those who are looking for an “easy come, easy go” option. Choose from a 36” x 72”, 36” x 80”, or double 72” x 72” door. Though these doors are basic, they deliver more than you bargained for, especially if you upgrade to our heavy duty walk-in. There is no threshold located at the bottom of these doors, making it easy for those who use wheelchairs to enter and exit the building. We offer two sizes: 36” wide by 84” tall and 48” wide by 84” tall. Apart from the different frames, they are reversible and insulated. If extra security and additional strength are what you’re looking for, consider investing in our Heavy Duty Walk-In door.

Remember:

  • There is a $75 fee for installing doors on vertical sides.
  • There is no extra cost for doors installed on horizontal sides.
  • Heavy Duty Walk-In doors must be installed on concrete foundations.

Overhead

Our Overhead doors, also known as Sectional doors, are ideal for those who want to add a residential look to their building. Choose from our standard option, which doesn’t come insulated or with windows, or upgrade to glass windows and insulation. We also offer embossed panel designs: colonial and ranch. Select from white, almond, taupe, and brown color options. Our Overhead doors are larger than our mobile doors but are easy to open. What makes them different from a Roll-Up door? A Roll-Up door uses a chain to roll up, whereas an Overhead wraps up in sections, like a garage door.

Roll-Up

Not looking to spend much on a large door? Although they serve the same purpose as Overhead doors, these are great for those who want something economical and simple.

We offer 3 types of Roll-Ups:

  • Model 650 Mini
  • Model 2000 Commercial
  • Model 2500 Commercial

Keep in mind that our 6’ x 7’ to 10’ x 10’ sizes are considered mini. Anything above 10’ x 10’ comes with a chain hoist. There is also no outside latch on Roll-Up doors, meaning a Walk-In door is required to open the Roll-Up from the inside.

On top of this information, do you know that you can change the color of your roll-up doors for an additional price? Click here to look at all of the colors we have available to give your building that special touch.

Live in the North? You’d better watch out for the Snow!

Vertical siding buildings are the most recommended when it comes to states that get a considerable amount of snow. The vertical roof allows natural elements like snow, water, dirt, leaves, and dust to slide off easily without the need for constant maintenance, unlike other roof styles. And if the vertical roof can give you all that, imagine having vertical sides! It would definitely make your metal garage maintenance-free!

Another cool feature that we offer is our overhead doors. These doors create more of a residential look, and they can actually be connected to a garage opener. Please be aware that American Carports does not offer that type of service: we would only provide the installation of your metal building and the overhead door.

This 18’W x 26’L x 10’H metal garage is a perfect example of a fully vertical (a.k.a., maintenance-free) building:

  • 16’x7′ Overhead door
  • 4 – 30″x30″ Windows (2 on the back end, 2 on the side)
  • 36″x80″ Walk-In Door (on the side)

There are many ways to customize your metal garage! Before making a purchase, though, it’s recommended that all of our customers talk with their local building departments to get the necessary permits. Remember that not all states and counties are the same: some might require additional plans or calculations, while others would take the generic plans. Also, know that our generic plans come free when you place your order with us.

Give us a call and let one of our experts help you build that garage of your dreams! Does your area have a higher snow load? Let our experts know, and we’ll work with your requirements until we meet them. Want to see our buildings in person? Call us and ask for your local dealer! And don’t forget to ask about our financing options.

Cut off Times

We are entering that time of the year again when the weather starts dropping, the snow starts coming and we make our cut off dates.

What are cut off dates?

They are the time frame where we will be halting delivery on units in certain regions.

Why cut off dates?

Because although we would love to take care of customers 365 days a year, it’s highly unlikely due to the weather variables that are far beyond our control.

When do we start delivering again?

We will start up in full steam in the spring delivering and installing new units.

What states have been cut off for 2018?

October 31 – Oregon, Nevada, Upper Northeast California.

We can’t wait to get started installing your buildings in the spring. Take care, everyone!

Are all of Your Belongings Stored and Protected?

Metal agricultural buildings offer great protection for farm equipment and even livestock, but these traditional units are not only for farm use. In fact, many of our customers opt to construct a metal agricultural barn for their vehicles. As always, we recommend that our customers check with their local building departments if their metal buildings meet the local codes before purchasing any of our units. Local codes from California may differ from those in any other state, especially if the building is going to be put up in an urban area.

One of the most popular buildings this year has been the ag barn. This barn can be used for many purposes. The most common one, of course, is as a barn, keeping livestock safe from the rain, intense heat and freezing cold. Some customers opt to enclose part of the lean-tos to store animal feed or farm equipment. On the other hand, there are customers who just love the design and prefer to use it as a garage for their vehicles. If you have land and space available, that would be a very interesting project.

Take a look at this metal barn installed near Chiloquin, OR:

  • 20’W x 41’L x 12’H (main unit)
  • A-Frame Vertical Roof
  • Horizontal Siding
  • 10×10 Roll-Up Door (front end)
  • 36″x80″ Walk-In Door (front end)
  • 2 – 30″x30″ Windows

  • 10’W x 41’L x 10’/8’H Lean-Tos
  • A-Frame Vertical Roof
  • Horizontal Sides
  • 2 – 9×7 Roll-Up Doors (one on each lean-to)

One of the main advantages of this barn is its vertical roof; since Oregon is a state with constant snow, the panels running from the peak toward the eaves allow snow to slide off without the need for constant maintenance, like other types of roofs.

Should you always go for a vertical roof?

Not necessarily. Although vertical roofs are the best choice when it comes to maintenance, if you live in an area that rarely gets snow, it’s not necessary. However, it’s highly recommended to get a vertical roof if your carport exceeds 30’ in length in order to avoid leaks in the future.

You can customize your metal building! Give us a call, and we will help you build the metal barn of your dreams. Remember that we also offer financing options if you need a little help purchasing your metal barn. Ask your representative about it.
