2018 Colusa County Fair Parade

Summer break in California is nothing short of amusing. This weekend, we joined the fun at the Colusa County Fair Parade. We serve most of the state but engaging with our local community is an important value we strive for. So, for the last couple of years we’ve participated at the annual parade. Onesimo, the manager, led the team to yet another successful event. The float design this year was inspired by our agricultural building product line. Who would have ever guessed to see a floating ag barn?! What a creative way to protect yourselves from the summer heat! To cool off the crowd, Daniela, our customer service representative and the team decided to amp up the fun. They filled three barrels of water balloons and had water guns on deck to soak up the Colusa community. No one on that float was dry by the end of the parade. The kids weren’t the only ones who loved it! Iriana, our new team member, experienced the parade for the first time and expressed that she really enjoyed handing items out to people and getting them wet because it felt like she was reliving her childhood again. To top it off, the Colusa community scored free water bottles, caps, frisbees, loads of candy, and key chains on behalf of American Carports. If you saw us there, make sure to stop by our shop and say hello once again! Thank you so much to everyone who engaged with us. It’s an honor to be a part of the Colusa family. Looking forward to next year!

Custom Metal Building w/ Lean-To

Wouldn’t it be great if metal buildings, such as garages, workshops, or even barns, were built in a more residential style? American Carports has taken its buildings to the next level. We want to make sure that we meet all your expectations and provide you with high-quality products, most importantly with certified buildings that will last for years.

Many of our customers add lean-tos to their structures, and the way they use them varies with their specific needs. This 30’W x 61’L x 12’H metal structure built in 12-gauge is a perfect example of how our buildings can be adapted to a residential style. It also uses our new deluxe windows and has the A-frame vertical roof style on both the structure itself and the lean-to.

• 2 – 10’x8 Roll-Up Doors (front and back)

• 6 – Windows

• Walk-In Door (on the side)

• 12’W x 61’L x 11’/8’H Lean-To

• A-Frame Vertical Roof

• 2 –  Gable End

Disclaimer: Additional material might be required to meet local codes. Therefore, the inside design and pricing may vary by state. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Please contact our sales department for our latest prices*

A-Frame Vertical Roofs allow for easy maintenance because the panels are all siding, from the peak to the eaves. They let water, snow, and dirt run off easily.

Impressive, isn’t it? And we can change the building’s dimensions to suit your needs. This is just a small preview of what we can offer you. Remember, it’s your ideas that make the difference with your metal buildings. And with thirteen (13) colors to choose from, you can add your own personal touch.

Compact Design for Your Needs

Looking to protect your belongings? How about maximizing your space for an affordable price? Not looking for something that big? This 24’ wide by 21’ long by 11’/7’ high unit with an A-frame horizontal roof (boxed eave), a 9’ x 7’ roll-up door, two (2) walk-in doors, six (6) windows, and concrete anchors would fit your needs nicely. Remember, all of our units can be customized to match what you want.

The terms “agriculture” and “barn” can be misleading: this agricultural building can be used for many different scenarios. This kind of unit is designed to be used as a barn or to protect your livestock, but that doesn’t mean that it cannot be used as a garage or even as a storage room.

Want to order yours today? Give us a call and ask to speak with one of our sales representatives for more information and pricing. We build nothing but engineer-certified structures to ensure the quality that American Carports offers. Don’t forget to ask about our financing options!

Practical Protection

If you live out in the country, you must know that farm equipment needs protection at all times, especially if it’s just sitting out in the open. The inclement weather might affect your tools, and what about your livestock? Our buildings can be used to protect both of these, giving them the prefect shade during the summer when temperatures can be suffocating.

If you’re thinking of purchasing a metal building for your farm, take a look at this 12’W x 26’L x 6’H structure:

This metal building can be used to give shade to your livestock or even store your farm equipment. It comes with a horizontal roof (boxed eave), a 36” x 80” walk-in door, and two (2) windows.

Remember that all of our metal buildings are custom-made. If you like one of our buildings but need to adjust the length or height, just give us call and let one of sales representatives make those changes for you!

Get Something that can do Both!

We’re already in February, and time is definitely going fast. Next thing you know, we’ll be hitting Spring Break and might not even notice the time passing! So why wait for the summer to get your metal barn, when you can place your order now and have your building ready by then?

Agricultural barns are becoming the thing this year, but it might be a surprise to learn that this kind of metal barn can be used for either farm purposes or as a garage/storage area. Aside from the traditional barn use, there are customers who really like the design and prefer to use this barn as a garage. The fact that this metal unit comes in three sections gives them the option to choose if they want to enclose the lean-tos (wings) or even the center unit.

This is a perfect example of an ag barn used as a garage:

• 24’W x 31’L x 12’H (center unit)
• A-Frame Horizontal
• 2 – Horizontal Gable Ends
• Horizontal Sides (both sides on the center unit)

• 12’W x 31’L x 11’/9’H (Lean-tos)
• A-Frame Horizontal Roof
• Horizontal Sides (outer sides)
• Horizontal Ends (all ends on lean-tos)
• 2 – 36″x80″ Walk-In Doors (on the sides of the center unit)
• 2 – 10’x8′ Roll-Up Doors (front of each lean-to)

This customer decided not to enclose the center unit, instead parking their vehicles and enclosing the lean-tos to store their belongings. The design might be simple, but it’s strong enough to last for many years.

Remember that you can come up with your own metal barn designs; these are just live examples of our customers’ creations that might help you envision your own ideas for the metal building of your dreams.
